Zoo Insider

During this week, we will explore the zoo with different eyes and take a look at some behind the scenes areas, meet some keepers and other staff, and find out how much work goes into running a zoo! As we explore the Zoo, we will learn about the importance of observation and exploration as it relates to biology, conservation and working in a zoo. Campers will have all the "inside" information!

**For the safety of all, direct contact with exhibit animals is not possible. Campers may experience behind the scenes areas, but direct contact with animals will not be allowed. We will enjoy some close up encounters with some of our Education Ambassador Animals. Campers will be out in the elements and might be exposed to smells and other sensory experiences. 

Grades: 6th thru 8th grade

Dates: Monday, June 2 through Friday, June 6, 2025

Times: 9:30 am to 4:00 pm daily, after care option available. 

Aftercare – 4:00 pm to 5:15 pm

Cost: $275 for the week / with aftercare – $350
